This original antique signed oil painting on canvas was done in the early 20th century by American artists Elsie Scull.
Scull was active in the Walter Baum School of Painting in the Allentown-Bucks County of Pennsylvania.
"Dedicated to the preservation of the arts, Baum helped to found the Lehigh Art Alliance and the Allentown Art Museum, where he served as first director and taught for 40 years thereafter. He established his own school, the Baum School of Art, in 1929, but retired as director of the school shortly before his death in 1956."
